Phillyra — Privacy Policy
What we collect
Nothing. Phillyra does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, and does not track you across apps or websites. Apple's App Store privacy label for Phillyra is "Data Not Collected."
How the app works (and what stays on your device)
On-device forecasting. The Kronos forecasting model runs locally using Apple's Core ML. Your inputs and the resulting forecasts are processed on your device and are not sent to us.
Local storage only. Your watchlist, preferences (model tier, interval), saved forecasts, a cached copy of recently fetched market data, and your Premium status are stored on your device. You can remove saved forecasts and the market cache any time in Settings → Storage → Clear All Forecasts, and you can delete everything by removing the app.
Market data
To draw charts and produce forecasts, your device requests recent market data (OHLCV candles) directly from a public Yahoo Finance endpoint. These requests go from your device to Yahoo's servers; they do not pass through any server operated by the developer. As with any internet request, Yahoo necessarily receives your device's IP address and the symbol/timeframe being requested, and Yahoo's own privacy practices govern that data. We do not control, receive, or store it. If you provide your own third-party data-provider key (a future feature), the same applies to that provider.
Purchases
Phillyra offers an optional one-time in-app purchase, Phillyra Premium, processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. The developer never sees your payment details. Purchases and entitlements are handled by Apple's StoreKit and are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Phillyra determines your Premium status by asking StoreKit on your device; it stores no payment information.
No analytics, ads, or tracking
Phillyra contains no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. The app does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and performs no cross-app/website tracking. If this ever changes, this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated before such a release.
Children's privacy
Phillyra is a general-audience, informational app and does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. It is not directed at children under 13.
Your choices
Because no data leaves your device, control is entirely in your hands: clear saved forecasts and cached market data in-app, or uninstall Phillyra to remove all locally stored information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised effective date, and—where the change affects data practices—in the App Store privacy label before the corresponding release.
